Description:

British Equestrian is seeking a highly organized and dedicated World Class Programme Operations & Logistics Co-ordinator to join their team. This role will involve working closely with World Class Programme (WCP) staff, consultants, and external partners to ensure smooth planning and execution of training sessions, international competitions, and logistical support for Games and Championships.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Provide administrative support for the overall operation of the UK Sport and National Lottery-funded Equestrian World Class Programme.
✅ Assist with planning and delivery of squad training sessions, ensuring all logistical and administrative elements are effectively managed.
✅ Support operational planning for the British Equestrian Team at Games and Championships, including travel, accommodation, accreditation, and kit distribution.
✅ Collaborate with the Anti-Doping Programme Manager to ensure athletes, grooms, and staff complete necessary anti-doping education.
✅ Manage relationships with partners, sponsors, and suppliers, acting as a key point of contact for team kit matters – from design to distribution and stock control.
✅ Organize travel, accommodation, and venues for squad sessions, conferences, and team training events, ensuring compliance with budgets.
✅ Maintain accurate and up-to-date contact lists, and act as the primary contact for internal communication channels including WhatsApp groups and Microsoft Teams.
✅ Provide note-taking and administrative support for World Class Programme meetings.
✅ Assist in equine shipment logistics for major competitions, coordinating with shipping agents, feed suppliers, and event organizers.
✅ Support anti-doping education delivery for athletes, grooms, and staff, ensuring all compliance measures are met.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

🎓 Degree or similar-level qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
📦 Knowledge of elite equestrian sport is advantageous.
🏅 Experience in elite sport and knowledge of UK High Performance systems, ideally with exposure to Olympic/Paralympic Games.
🌍 Familiarity with UK Sport, British Olympic Association, British Paralympic Association, British Equestrian Federation, and member bodies.
✈️ Understanding of international horse transportation processes and requirements.
💻 Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
📑 Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
✍️ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with high attention to detail.

Additional Information:

⚠️ This role involves out-of-hours working, particularly during summer months, along with travel across the UK and internationally. Overnight stays and weekend work will also be required during key events.
