Description:
As Web Developer and Content Designer for the Finance Division, you will be responsible for identifying sustainable solutions for the Division's multiple, customer facing Drupal websites, according to the University's Digital Experience Strategy. You will lead and facilitate the transition to either Drupal 10 /11 or migration to new Microsoft SharePoint Communication sites. You will also coordinate with the Division's web editors to rationalise web content, in order for these transitions to take place.
We are seeking an individual who has experience in website development and content design (with Drupal and SharePoint) to take up this pivotal role.
Your Skills
Applicants need to demonstrate experience of project management, including system design, testing, implementation and documentation. Proficiency in HTML, CSS design, cross browser and cross platform capability, mySQL and Javascript are essential, as well as the ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders and communicate complex information to a diverse audience are required, as well as experience of leading teams through change. In addition, an understanding of legislation effecting websites e.g. Data Protection and Copyright is essential.
Applicants will be educated to Degree level in a relevant subject or have a Level 6 vocational qualification, as well as an English GCSE or equivalent qualification.
