Web Accessibility Engineer

Description:

Projects will vary depending upon the needs of the teams you are working with and for this reason we look for a hybrid skill set so that you can work on technical elements of the role and be equally comfortable providing consultancy on accessibility matters.

Experience required:

• Strong knowledge and experience of accessibility and web standards, WCAG 2.2, ARIA.
• Proven experience conducting full Accessibility Audits to AA standard.
• Experience using a range of assistive technology tools such as JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver.
• Proven front end development skills – HTML, CSS and JavaScript (to effectively read code and present code examples and prototypes).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships and work across a range of teams within a global business.
