Warehouse Operative

Description:

We are looking for someone with a flexible approach but typically, you will work 1pm – 5pm Monday to Friday. Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

· Using the forklift to organise solar panels on pallets ready for issue to our installers (forklift training can be provided if required)

· Picking associated materials required as part of the installation

· Handling receipt of deliveries to the branch

· Updating records of materials in stock

Additional duties may include:

· Holiday cover for the morning Warehouse Operative

· Cleaning the branch

· Collecting meter readings

· Monthly branch inspections to support our Facilities Team

Requirements

· Ability to work using own initiative

· Self-motivated with a flexible approach to working

· Reliable and able to work independently

· Organised

· Good numeracy skills

· Excellent accuracy, even when under pressure

· A full UK manual driving licence

· Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
