Description:
We are very proud to be recruiting for our brand-new distribution centre in Corby. The 165,000 sqft Distribution Centre services a multi-channel retail operation and deliveries to over 100 plus stores, site also includes an e-shop and a returns department.
Key activities:
- Handballing inbound containers
- Complete any necessary reworks: re-palletising and labelling of stock
- Check the integrity of any stock, reporting any damages and inaccuracies
- Operate as per the site’s Health and Safety guidelines and Safe Systems at Work policies
- Pick and pack retail and e-shop orders to agreed service level agreements
- Loading of trailers in a professional and timely manner
- Accurate receipt and reconciliation of inbound deliveries, ensuring all stock is quality checked and allocated to the appropriate areas within the warehouse
- Manual handling of all products
- High standard of housekeeping and warehouse hygiene
Personal characteristics:
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment
- Basic numeracy and the understanding of written and oral communication
- A polite, respectful, and professional manner
- Able to follow instructions
- Flexible and reliable
- Able to carry out physical activity as the role demands
- Counterbalance, PPT and Reach truck licence holder’s prefrred
- Ability to concentrate in a busy environment and maintain excellent attention to detail
- Passionate about delivering great customer service
- Excellent time keeping
