As a Warehouse Administrator and Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the Purchasing and Logistics Department, ensuring efficient management of goods receiving, storage, and shipping operations.

This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and teamwork abilities to maintain high levels of efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction in warehouse operations.

📍 Location Requirement: Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Coventry, UK.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Material Handling & Logistics:

• Receive, inspect, and distribute incoming goods efficiently
• Collate, package, and prepare goods for shipment
• Load and unload shipments, including forklift operation
• Distribute stores materials and parts internally
• Assist in the movement of plant and equipment when needed
• Provide logistical support for field engineers and international shipments
• Maintain general housekeeping and organization of the warehouse and dispatch areas

📑 Warehouse Administration & Documentation:

• Process delivery and shipping documentation
• Coordinate with shipping agents for timely dispatch
• Assist in import/export documentation and compliance
• Maintain stock records, including inventory tracking and order processing
• Communicate with suppliers and internal teams regarding deliveries and inventory
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation compliance

🤝 Teamwork & Support:

• Work closely with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations
• Provide support and coverage for colleagues during absences
• Assist with general procurement and order processing tasks
• Advise and assist colleagues on goods receiving and delivery matters

✅ Technical Proficiency:

• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage
  ✅ Warehouse & Logistics Knowledge:
• Valid counterbalance forklift truck license
• Valid UK driving license
• Understanding of packaging methods to prevent transit damage
• Knowledge of import/export regulations and documentation
