Are you an experienced trades supervisor, looking for a new role with a great employer?  Come and join the Home Group Repairs Partnership and be part of our fantastic repairs and maintenance team that we are building to cover the Peterborough to Milton Keynes region which includes towns like Northampton and Kettering. We are currently working on finding right location for our new base and we go live at the end of November.

If you join us before then you’ll travel to our nearby regional base in Welwyn for your induction and work on jobs in the wider region. The great news is that your travel time will be part of your working day”!

Typical day as a Voids Supervisor
 

• Leading our trades team to deliver a right first time, whole job repair approach which is compliant and of high-quality.
• Ensuring all works are completed to the highest standards, working within budget, KPI’s and service standards.
• Ensuring our void properties are turned around quickly.
• Successfully managing internal teams and sub-contractors in delivering on our customer promise.

You have

• An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in construction or if not, strong equivalent operational experience.
• SMSTS or equivalent health and safety qualification and experience managing the health and safety of a direct workforce and contractors.
• Great knowledge of housing repairs and improvements, including building regulations and working to specifications.
• Experience of managing maintenance or construction teams, successfully delivering work programmes within time and budget, driving performance, productivity and quality.
• A full current driving licence, as you will be provided with a company van for business use and commuting.
