Are you looking for part-time hours with the opportunity to mentor and follow a specialism in a supportive and stable environment? Vets for Pets is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. With competitive pay up to £60,000 (FTE, DOE) and a flexible schedule, this role offers excellent opportunities for professional development in a supportive practice.
Provide high-quality care for small animals, including performing surgeries (orthopaedic and soft tissue).
Mentor junior team members and help guide the practice in maintaining high standards of care.
Ensure excellent client communication and patient care.
Work as part of a collaborative team of 3 vets, 4 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 1 PM, and 4 receptionists.
Part-time commitment ideally on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (other schedules can be considered).
No Sundays or out-of-hours (OOH) required.
Confident in all-round veterinary practice, especially surgery.
Ability to mentor junior staff and influence standards of care.
Competitive salary up to £60,000 (FTE, DOE).
5.6 weeks paid holiday (excluding bank holidays).
Additional week's holiday after 2 years' service.
CPD and certificates highly encouraged and supported.
Birthday leave.
