Veterinary Surgeon

Description:

We are an RCVS accredited small animal practice with x-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, haematology, biochemistry, dentistry and isolation. We are accredited silver cat friendly and rabbit friendly clinic. We believe in a good work life balance and are happy to accommodate a flexible rota. We also have a visiting ophthalmologist and peripatetic surgeon for orthopaedic and advanced soft tissue surgeries. We are keen on sustainability and use low flow anaesthesia, segregated recycling and fur clipping recycling (making mats to soak up oil spills).

You will be joining a passionate team made up of 5 experienced nurses, 1 student nurse, 2 VCAs, plus practice manager and amazing Client Care team. One regular locum recently described our team as ‘the best [he has] worked with’ and two of our previous vets regularly return as locums. The team holds a variety of interests from behaviour and wellness through to exotics! We always encourage CPD and are happy to support study towards a Certificate. A keen interest in surgery or imaging would be welcomed but not essential.
