One of my key clients who specialise in developing Electric Vehicles is recruiting for an experienced automotive Integration and Validation Engineer to join their dynamic team. As an integral part of our automotive engineering group, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration and validation of various automotive systems, components, and technologies. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of our vehicles.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and mechanical engineers, to integrate and validate automotive systems and components.
- Develop integration plans and strategies to ensure the proper functioning of interconnected systems, such as powertrain, infotainment, ADAS, and vehicle control systems.
- Facilitate integration and validation testing, both in simulation environments and real-world conditions, to identify and resolve potential issues related to compatibility, performance, and functionality.
- Design, implement, and maintain test setups, tools, and procedures to streamline the integration and validation process.
- Analyse test results and work closely with the development teams to address any identified issues or anomalies.
- Collaborate with external suppliers and partners to integrate third-party components and technologies, ensuring they meet quality and performance standards.
- Participate in design reviews, providing valuable insights to enhance the integration and validation processes during the development lifecycle.
- Contribute to the development of test plans, test cases, and test scripts for automated testing.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in automotive integration and validation methodologies.
- Support the documentation of integration and validation processes, findings, and solutions for internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with software change and management tools (GIT, Subversion, Helix)
- Wide range of experience within V-development cycle
- Experience using static analysis tools for models and code (Model Advisor, Polyspace)
- Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis efficiently
- High standards for documentation and organization
