Unix/linux Systems Administrator

Description:

One of our clients are looking for a Linux/Unix Systems Administrator, looking for people with RHEL/Linux experience of over 5 years happy to travel Knaresborough two to three times a week.

• Strong knowledge of Unix Operating Systems (OS) and components
• Experience with IBM AIX, Redhat Linux and Oracle Solaris 10 systems administration
• Ability to install, configure, and evaluate Unix server equipment
• Proficiency in daily system monitoring and maintenance practices for Unix infrastructure environment
• Knowledge of data protection, recovery, and business continuity tests in Unix environment
• Troubleshooting skills for Unix networking services and application protocols
• Experience with automation and orchestration technologies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Continuous learning and staying up-to-date with new technology advancements.
