Description:
The Refinish market is changing and the business is undergoing a transformation to reposition for the future. This impactful role means that you will lead the Marketing team in the UK, and support the Sales functions. You will develop important insights into the different segments within the CAR, CT & LIC Markets within the UK, and establish compelling value propositions for each segment. Requires a talent able to build compelling value propositions. You will network, challenge, act and present at all levels and report into the Marketing Director North Europe.
Development position that will allow progression to a Regional Marketing role or a Sales Director role.
You will be based within a 2-hour radius of Stowmarket.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the marketing strategy for the UK and I together with the UK Sales Director. Help build business plans and Quarterly Reviews
- Provide Market & Sales analysis, establish areas of strength and weakness, identify growth areas, use this info to maximise volume, price Provide data to the sales director to support important strategic decisions.
- Build compelling value propositions for each type of decision makers within Refinish, and create ways of communicating with them – design a pitch for each type.
- Ensure product launches are performed well, that all sales, technical and training staff are trained in important product launches, both technically and commercially and ensure all support materials are available.
- Lead the continued roll out of LINQ digital tools, use these unique products to enhance to PPG sale proposition
- Look into how to deliver and extract maximum value in the CT & LIC sectors by deploying tools such as Fleetwatch, Selemix Select
- Work on the comms projects with the local coms manager. Promote the power of PPG’s Innovations and press our strengths in offering sustainable solutions to all customers. Create pull from the market with comms.
- Lead the UK marketing team, grow engagement and set the right priorities for delivery.
Qualifications
- Over ten years experience in large matrix style organisation
- Experience delivering new/change products to market with profit plan and strategic direction
