Uat Engineer

Technically strong, you will need to be someone who can work well both within a team and as a self-starter. You can quickly and efficiently assist customers during testing of new releases, identify solutions to UAT issues impacting our customers and business, and prioritise effectively.

The ideal person will be someone with 2 years' experience of working in a UAT or Application Support role. This role is fully remote, although occasional travel may be required to customer sites across the UK.

What will you be doing?

• Work as part of a project team on upgrades, migrations, new installations and releases of DA Systems’ suite of products.
• Own the UAT process from completion of deployment through to customer UAT sign off, including performing UAT on behalf of customers.
• Following the schedule agreed with the Project Manager, manage multiple customers through UAT in parallel to ensure each UAT period completes on schedule.
• Review and triage UAT tickets raised by customers quickly and efficiently, to establish if they are customer knowledge gaps, bugs, expected functionality or deployment issues.
• Quickly identify any reported critical issues that may prevent UAT sign-off and work to resolve these with the project team.
• Proactively work with customers, keeping them informed on the progress of any tickets raised, providing training or feedback on best practices for using the product.
• Continuously update and improve documentation to support and enhance the speed and quality of testing.
