Description:

We are in search of individuals who bring a diverse range of experiences, perspectives, and skills to support our mission to end modern slavery.

We would be keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:

• A passion for adventure, the outdoors and TFF’s community-led approach.
• An understanding of the role of a Trustee and charity governance.
• Demonstrable interest in fighting modern slavery.
• Ability to develop good relationships with colleagues on the Board, the wider staff team, and within local partnerships.
• A strategic thinker.
• Ability to motivate and inspire others.

About the Role

An initial term of 3 years, renewable up to a maximum of 6 years.

Trustees are required to prepare for and attend four Board meetings a year. These are typically two hours and are a variety of in-person, hybrid, and remote discussions.

Trustees give their services on a voluntary basis and receive no remuneration. We do however offer reimbursement of reasonable travel and subsistence expenses.

We also hope Trustees will get closely involved with some of the amazing TRIBE community events each year and support our fundraising efforts.
