Description:
Handelsbanken plc's Finance department and is based in London and responsible for accounting & reporting, financial control, tax, financial system support and financial reporting to authorities. Within Finance, there is a sub-department called which is responsible for liquidity planning, management, and settlement services.
- Acts as the first line control function of Group treasury
- Proposes liquidity and funding management limits to the CFO
- Oversees the production of the ILAAP (Internal Liquidity Adequacy Assessment Process)
- Performs overall treasury monitoring and escalates treasury issues to the risk committees where appropriate.
- Oversees the production and maintenance of the Bank's liquidity contingency plan (LCP).
- Ensures that funding and liquidity-related decisions are taken when the UK is under liquidity stress (as outlined in the LCP).
- Settlement of treasury transactions and Intraday liquidity monitoring, reporting and analysis
- Managing the Bank's membership to RTGS at the Bank of England
- Onboarding and maintenance of UK Customer details in Capital Markets systems
Ideal Candidate
The primary responsibilities of the jobholder includes the following settlement and business support related activities including:
- Settlement of treasury transactions including intragroup loans, deposits, money market loans, large wholesale deposits and CD issuance/repayment.
- Intraday liquidity monitoring, reporting and analysis (including with Bank of England and correspondent banks for all currencies).
- Managing the Bank's membership to RTGS at the Bank of England and managing the sterling CLS funding movements.
- Onboarding and maintenance of UK Customer details in Capital Markets systems including credit limits, confirmation matching and settlement instructions.
- The role requires an element of shift work.
