Mile Rainbow CIC (MRCIC) aims to fill in the gaps of existing mental health services via a multidisciplinary approach from both Western and Eastern perspectives. It offers workshops combining knowledge of neuroscience, health science, psychology, emotional intelligence, Western medical subjects, theories of Chinese medicine and acupressure with football, mindfulness, gentle martial arts moves, Korean, Japanese and Chinese languages, calligraphy and dances as well as sharing how its founder, Hong Zhou MBBS MSc MPH MHFA, defeated anxiety, depression and multiple clinically diagnosed stress-related diseases to empower one to improve physical and mental health.

Qualifications and requirements:
- Current college, undergraduate and postgraduate students studying subjects related to health and social care, social science, psychology, radiology, medicine, nursing / midwifery, business management, marketing, digital marketing, economics / finance / banking, journalism, law and education. International postgraduate students are also invited to apply.
- College students under 18 years old and the 1st year undergraduate students are welcomed to start as a volunteer. If you perform well, you will have an opportunity to take on paid assignments.
- Those having a degree of any of the above subjects and relevant work experiences
- Those studying other subjects and having experiences of encountering / defeating physical and mental health issues are also invited to apply.
- Having an interest in physical and mental health improvement is desirable
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills and able to communicate with various clients confidently.
- Good IT skills, and able to use Excel, internet, power point
- Good at social media
- Good at using mobile phones to record videos and take pictures during workshops and events as well as editing footage afterwards
- A can-do attitude and great curiosity for learning is essential.
- Willing to to take on assignments over weekends, during holiday periods or some weekdays
- Willing to travel to various locations across London to complete assignments
- Good negotiation, promotion, marketing and sales skills and able to have potential clients register and attend (FREE) workshops
- Being able to speak at least a foreign language is desirable.
- Having an interest in East Asian languages and related cultures is desirable but not compulsory.
Key tasks
- Managing customers’ contact details
- Handling training registration and welcoming customers
- Assisting clients with completing enrolment and feedback forms
- Completing tasks allocated, such as administration, social media campaigns, marketing, promotion and sales, and liaising with the third party on behalf of the company
- Distributing promotional materials when needed
- Recording videos and taking pictures during workshops and editing footage afterwards
- Playing music during workshops
- Tasks are subject to develop and change, and not limited to the above.
- You will need to learn to complete new tasks to fulfill the role as a training assistant when necessary.
