Description:
You will provide full lifecycle support for our range of trademarks activities, as well as providing backup support for other intellectual property matters on occasion. The role offers an opportunity to learn and develop your skills in other areas of IP rights. The successful candidate with be a collaborative, pro-active person with good judgement, creativity and the attention to detail needed for such a role.
Responsibilities
The scope of activities you will be involved in include
- Supporting all aspects of TM portfolio maintenance, including docketing, deadline management, schedule preparation, filings, acquiring signatures, notarisations, PoAs, and assisting with renewals.
- Instructing external counsel based on direction from Arm's attorneys.
- Investigating third party use of/application to register trademarks as well as new company name registrations and reporting of all findings.
- Assisting with evidence gathering and preparation.
- Assisting with the management of our copyright and domain name portfolio.
- Actioning online brand infringement takedowns using software platforms.
- Whilst trademark formalities knowledge is a pre-requisite, if you are able to demonstrate any experience working in-house on IP or with patent formalities, please also share such details when you apply. Whilst there will be much independent work, we do work collaboratively across our IP functions and whilst experience supporting may be helpful, the right candidate will be one with a passion and willingness to learn as part of a team.

- CITMA paralegal qualification is beneficial, but non-essential if you have proven experience
- Whilst in-house experience is preferred, it is not crucial, and we encourage application whether you've worked in private practice or in-house
