Test Engineer

Our client is a small yet rapidly growing software house company that has recently been ranked amongst the top 50 companies in The Sunday Times Tech Track 100 as one of the fastest growing privately owned technology companies. We are seeking a Test Engineer to aid the QA process to support their aspiring development projects by delivering products to the highest standard.

The position primarily involves application testing, including end-to-end feature and regression testing. We are seeking an individual who can contribute to manual testing, actively moving forward into automated testing and improving test processes. As part of a cross functional IT team, you may be required to help with 2nd line support tasks such SQL reporting.

The testing duties will encompass 90% of your responsibilities with 10% being required to support utilising SQL skills for reports, this focus on testing shall increase when developer support can automate self-serving reports.

Test Engineer applicants should be experienced in some or all the following (full training will be provided to fill any gaps in your skill set): Automation testing, Manual testing, JavaScript, coding, exploratory testing, manual API testing, Front and back end testing, Azure, Devops, Selenium Web driver, Java, SQL, Visual Studio IDE, source control tools, TFS, Git, HTML, CSS, DOM, DevOps, Agile, Scrum and Kanban.
