Description:
We are seeking an experienced Vectorworks CAD Technician to join our team on a 6-month contract. This role requires a professional with detailed design skills and a strong background in high-end luxury projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce precise technical drawings.
- Realign elevations and plans to match architects' layouts.
- Engage in detailed design work, including bespoke fitted joinery.
- Participate in spatial planning, incorporating lighting and electrical layouts.
- Deliver comprehensive project tender documentation.
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- A recognised interior design or architectural qualification
- A minimum of four years working experience in an interior design or architectural practice, preferably on projects in the luxury residential market
- Possess practical knowledge of how to execute design intent including a basic understanding of materials and construction methods
- Proven experience developing and producing drawing packages to tender level including design intent construction detailing and annotations
- Experience producing appliance, fixture and finishes specification schedules
- Possess the initiative to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience working in a creative and fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management
- Must be local to the UK
- Fluent in (spoken and written) English
