What you'll be doing
- Prepare and process production documentation and data and issue to fabrication and despatch departments.
- Receive, process and provide all technical data from / to customers and other stakeholders.
- Identify requirements for bought out parts / services and issue requisite purchase orders.
- Resolve technical issues, where required in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Reporting and expedite progress against key programme deliverables.
- Produce CNC data where required.
- Review, amend and create new production drawings as required.
- Liaise with the all internal and external stakeholders involving technical matters.
Who we're looking for
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and data- Essential.
- Experience in manufacturing practices and processes. Experience of steel fabrication would be beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to solve problems and make sound decisions with minimal support from management.
- Experience of working collaboratively within a dynamic team environment and meeting key deadlines.
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Proficient user of computer systems (Microsoft Office). Experience of MRP Systems and CAD systems would be advantageous.
- Experience in programming CNC machines – desirable.
- A strong pro-active and ‘can-do’ attitude with desire to continually learn and improve.
