Description:
Responsibilities of the Technical Cyber Security Consultant:
- Gain a thorough understanding of your client's needs by identifying and prioritising the gaps in their technical controls based on the risks they pose.
- You’ll use your technical expertise to solve problems, produce high and low level design solutions and propose risk-mitigating controls. The key to this role is problem solving.
- You’ll always apply security best practice to your solutions and consider emerging threats and scalable security throughout your problem-solving thought process.
Requirements of the Technical Cyber Security Consultant:
- This is a technical consultant role so were looking for someone with some or all the following (and more) IDAM, MFA, security controls, malware analysis, Cryptography, Web Security, Cloud Security, cloud engineering, network engineering / security, infrastructure engineering / security.
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as the ISO 27001 and NIST etc – However, remember that the technical side is the priority here.
- Great communication skills, both verbal and written.
