Talent Acquisition Manager

 

Description:

Arbor’s Talent Acquisition Manager is a key part of the People Team and responsible for the entire lifecycle of the internal recruitment for specific divisions within Arbor including our customer support, implementation, sales and training teams. You will provide support to your hiring managers on all matters related to recruitment. This role has additional responsibility for recruitment administration including contract generation and full ownership of Arbor’s onboarding and offboarding process.

 

Arbor is a firm believer in hybrid working. We appreciate the benefits of working from home but are also keen for our team to learn and collaborate with their colleagues. This role will be based in our London office (Old Street) and the expectation is the successful candidate will be in the office a minimum of 3 days per week.

 

In your first 6 months you will have…

  • Gained a clear understanding of your business areas to enable you to support recruitment into these areas
  • Built strong relationships with your key stakeholders
  • Taken ownership of the onboarding and offboarding process and started to put your own stamp on these

 

Core responsibilities

  • Ownership of recruitment for a variety of our non-technical teams across the Arbor business. Roles will vary from Customer Support Advisors to Software Trainers
  • Management of our applicant tracking system (TeamTailor) to ensure candidates are responded to in a timely manner
  • Updating weekly and monthly recruitment metrics including our weekly management packs
  • Generation of employment contracts for new joiners
  • Responsibility for onboarding new starters into Arbor. This will include setting them up on our HR system to ensuring they have everything they need ahead of day one
  • Ownership of the employee offboarding process and ensuring compliance with our process
  • Ad hoc duties across the team and in the London office - we expect all of our team members to be team players!

 

 

About you

Ideally you will have a background in recruitment across a range of non-technical roles. This could be either recruitment agency based or working as part of internal/RPO teams. Most importantly though you are driven and passionate about delivering outstanding customer and internal stakeholder experience. We would love you to tick the majority of the boxes below - even if you don’t but possess the right attitude we’d love to hear from you!

  • 1+ year experience recruiting into a variety of non-technical roles
  • An eye for outstanding talent with a proven track record of where to find them
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - you will be interacting with a large number of internal and external stakeholders every day
  • A passion for candidate experience - you really go the extra mile to deliver and create the best possible impression
  • You’re a self starter - there is lots to do in this role and we want you to own what you do!
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks at any one time
  • A love of streamlining and improving processes - it may sound dull but this will have a huge impact on you and your team!
