System Verification Engineer

Working on the latest generation of air defence missile, you will be a verification engineer within the launch management system team – a key team in managing the safe operation and launch of the missile.

The Opportunity:

• Work across the systems, software and hardware domains owning the verification domain
• Run verification activities
• Support resolution of queries from customers and other areas of the business
• Develop test procedures against systems and software requirements, creating test strategies, operating within labs, hardware and test systems
• Support the acceptance and certification of the product, ensuring validity of technical publications
• Manage individual work packages assigned to you

Requirements:

• Understanding of verification stages of the design lifecycle
• Knowledge of DOORs managing verification scenarios, test procedures and evidence collection
• Work experience within a lab environment
• Validate technical publications against product requirements and behaviour.
• Manage individual work packages assigned to you
• Champion system engineering processes and toolsets
