System Installation Engineer

Copello are pleased to be partnered with a world leading consulting and technology business recruiting for a (RADAR) System Installation Engineer to join their team in Fareham.

The System Installation Engineer will join an established team, and take on a lead position as the responsible person leading all System Installation activities.

Co-ordinating the System Installation team across 10 UK wide Radar sites, the Installation Engineer will have extensive knowledge of electrical engineering and installation, including the certification of electrical regulations.

Day to day duties will include;

• Internal and external customer engagement and management
• Co-ordinate the System Installation Engineers across multiple sites
• Input into meetings with clients and team members to plan projects and determine requirements
• Plan and schedule management of works
• Execute installation acceptance tests
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems
• Execute ancillary systems commissioning
• Produce and understand operational and test procedures
• Inspect systems and equipment
• Produce and understand operational and test procedures
• Draft and update drawings and documentation
• Coordinate subcontractors and ancillary system suppliers
• Inspect systems and equipment, testing them for safety, ensuring they are well-maintained and overseeing repairs and upgrades
• Ensure projects follow standards, code and regulations applicable to electrical and system installation works
