The Supply Management team is the one procurement face in front of our internal customer, the production plants, being in charge that our suppliers deliver On Time, On Cost and On Quality. To do so, we offer our production lines a full range of support, such as demand management, ordering solutions, Missing parts management, Inventory Optimization, Product Conformity and Non Conformance management for containment.

We are a One unified, collaborative and empowered Supply Chain and Quality team, enabling operational performance with:
 

  • One voice to our internal customer, protecting business continuity and competitiveness.
  • One voice to the supplier, strengthening supplier intimacy, ensuring containment, prevention and performance improvement.
     

We have two opportunities. One to work with the team focused on a contingency mode to make sure delivery On Time, On Cost and On Quality. The other one will work focused on the long term plan to make sure suppliers meet Airbus requirements.

What You Will Be Doing

The activities will be involved might vary depending on team:
 

  • Lead interface with internal customer on Security Quality Cost Delivery on People (SQCDP) panels.
  • Interact with suppliers collaborating with internal stakeholders for the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Analysis of demand and forecasts.
  • Purchase Order placement with support of subcontract services.
  • Monitoring of On Time and On Quality deliveries for product and services to the internal customer/plant.
  • Ensure visibility of supplier operational performance KPIs.
  • Launch Request for Quotation (RFQ) and perform supplier sourcing securing On Time and On Cost responses, acting with delegation from Commodity Management.
  • Support Vendor Review Boards, Multi Functional Teams and other key internal meetings. Support Non Conformity containment actions and collaborate with stakeholders in the corrective/preventive measures.
  • Support in the initiatives (including digitalization tools) to optimize stock levels.
  • Ensure Export Compliance during the ordering activities.
  • Participate/lead improvement projects and exchange of best practices across our multinational organization, applying also lessons learnt from all business lines and sites of Airbus DS.
  • Ensure On Time payment to suppliers.
  • Place Purchase Orders according to the Purchase Request on behalf of the commodity. Actively involved in the management of the material flows in order to ensure that outsourced and purchased products are delivered on time, quality and cost to satisfy customers and launch the first level of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Manage inventory and order management expressed with the suppliers.
