Strategy Manager

The Strategy Manager is responsible for supporting the Chief of Staff to drive global WREF performance. The role is accountable for monitoring global departmental strategy and coordinating activities to ensure alignment across all WREF departments.

In this role you will:

 

  • Coordinate across teams to support accurate and transparent reporting of progress against the Global WREF strategy and annual objectives, identifying risks against strategy achievements and make recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Manage WREF’s early talent programme, including industrial placement and graduate schemes.
  • Plan and deliver key communications (Newsletters, Workplace Announcements, Videos, Intranet etc.) and events (Townhalls, Accelerator Meetings etc.).
  • Proactively maintain and update mailing and contact lists, organisation charts and periodic reports.
  • Drive and foster the WREF culture, leading internal cross functional working groups and initiatives linking to GSK culture plans.
  • Independently manage strategic and special projects as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Real Estate or Facilities related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Broad understanding of Real Estate and Facilities Management industry.
  • Ability to think and act strategically and initiate and engage in long term planning.
  • Outstanding managerial skills and leadership abilities in order to motivate and influence.
  • Strong project management skills and able to lead multiple high-profile projects forward and effectively leverage available resources to drive results.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and persuasive skills to successfully interact with senior stakeholders internal and external to WREF.
