Strategy Director

We’re looking for an exceptional thinker to join the strategy team at MG OMD. You must be impressive – in how you think, in how you communicate and in how you work with others. You must love getting stuck into interesting client challenges and be motivated by a desire to make a real difference. Crucially, you must have a passion for the latest in marketing best practice and consumer trends, and an enthusiasm for sharing that knowledge with the agency and with clients.

Our strategy team is a core part of the agency, working across all our major clients, on every pitch, on every significant internal initiative. They are integral to our focus on creating difference that matters to our clients’ business, ensuring that all our work is underpinned with a sound understanding of marketing theory and its practical application.

About You

We are looking for an experienced strategist who will have influence throughout the agency, be credible and compelling in front of our major clients and mentor our more junior team members. Someone who understands the way that communications touchpoints are fragmenting and how the definition of media is blurring, but who recognises the difference between the strategic and the tactical. Someone who is comfortable with nuanced, granular understanding of audiences, but is equally comfortable thinking about brands’ role in contemporary culture and the psychology behind human behaviour.
