A leading media agency is looking for a Strategist to join their team in London (with hybrid working options). In this role, you will help shape the media strategies for clients by going beyond traditional methods to discover valuable insights. Your curiosity will drive you to understand consumer needs, market behaviors, and cultural trends, transforming these into unique and impactful strategies for media and advertising.

You’ll explore how people think, what influences their behavior, and continually seek to learn about how advertising works. This understanding will empower you to create brilliant media strategies grounded in data and insight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shape Media Strategies: Use insights from consumer needs, market behaviors, and cultural trends to develop unique strategies.
  • Curiosity-Driven Insights: Focus on understanding how people think and the factors that influence their behaviors.
  • Media Ideas Development: Deliver creative and data-driven media strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teams to implement strategies that are impactful for clients.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2+ years in the marketing, media, and advertising industry.
  • Background in communications strategy & planning, with openness to candidates transitioning from related specialisms.
  • Experience in consumer insight and/or market research.
  • Solid knowledge of media planning and buying and an understanding of the UK media landscape.
  • Curiosity and a keen interest in diverse viewpoints, current affairs, and new sources of information.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and numerical ability.
