Strategic Planning & Corporate Development Analyst

The Strategic Planning and Corporate Development team collaborates closely with the OSTTRA Senior Leadership Team to define the corporate strategy and meet its growth objectives by executing on organic and inorganic opportunities. The Analyst will provide commercial and analytical support to the Strategic Planning and Corporate Development team.

Main Responsibilities Will Include, But Not Limited To
 

  • Support the identification, evaluation and execution of new organic growth opportunities aligned to OSTTRA’s corporate strategy
  • Provide analysis and recommendation on M&A opportunities, strategic partnerships, commercial opportunities and expansion of existing business division lines
  • Contribute to the coordination and provision of market intelligence to assess external market, regulatory, and technology trends
  • Compilation and analysis of commercial and financial data in support of quarterly business reviews
  • Partner closely with cross functional teams in providing financial modelling and analytical expertise to facilitate effective decision making
     

The Analyst role will require the following skills and behaviours:
 

  • Keen interest in the Post Trade sector within financial services
  • Exposure and/or understanding of the main asset classes traded within the financial services
  • Degree or equivalent in related fields required e.g. Economics, Mathematics or similar
  • Minimum 1 year post graduate experience in a financial services role
  • Exceptional analytical skills with demonstrable experience of designing financial models
  • Proven ability to work both independently and part of a team and to self-prioritise work as objectives and focus evolves
  • A positive can-do attitude and a strong desire to learn, develop and grow
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Google applications
