Strategic Planner

Description:

The Strategic Business Advisory team are delivering national work-streams. This involves developing and delivering strategic planning tools to enable joined up holistic clinical and estates strategy planning.

A dedicated Strategic Planner is required to support the Strategic Development Lead in the development and roll-out of the programme work-streams. These work-streams align to population health management, wider emerging policies and agendas, suitable for varying levels of stakeholder use and need, and be in keeping with wider health services and national strategies such as the Net Zero Agenda, Digital Agenda, Community Diagnostic Centres, elective hubs, ICS infrastructure strategies and ICS Estate Strategies, aligned with the new nationally developed strategic planning mapping and tools.

The Strategic Planner is primarily an internally focused role working across the wider Programme Delivery Team. It will also be necessary to engage with partners and third-party contractors to support roll out and implement the developed tools and processes to consistently implement the work-stream outputs.

The Strategic Planner will need to be proactive and self-motivated and resourceful, with the necessary skills, capacity and capability to develop thinking in the production of clear outputs aligned to programmes of work such as the development of ICS Infrastructure Strategies.
