Strategic Marketing Manager

 

Description:

As the Vape Strategic Marketing Manager you will take ownership of developing and implementing a global marketing plan into a strategically important and core market for Inter Scientific. To increase brand awareness, customer engagement and lead generation you will devise and own strategic and tactical plans for marketing campaigns across the full range of marketing channels, including website site, print, social, digital, advertising and events. By combining your scientific background with your in-depth industry, trend & competitor knowledge, your plans will be carefully crafted around building compelling value propositions that match the needs of a variety of vape customer personas. You will analyse and report on the performance of your campaigns and tactics to assess their effectiveness and how they can be optimised and refined. You will be a key member of Inter Scientifics commercial function and play an important role in managing and developing a tactical marketing resource that will be part of your team.

 

Responsibilities

· As the Strategic Marketing Manager, you will develop and tactically execute a global Vape marketing and branding strategy spanning multiple marketing channels.

· Manage and develop your team to tactically deliver on the strategy.

· Leverage scientific background and industry knowledge to craft and thread compelling messaging and a unique value proposition throughout the strategy to address customer needs, deliver value and differentiate from competitors.

· Management of a dedicated marketing budget.

· You will have proven experience of campaign performance analysis; analysing, interpreting, and reporting campaign effectiveness against defined objectives and KPIs and the subsequent ability to refine and optimise to achieve desired outcome.

· Collaborate with the leadership team, including directors, on the overall marketing strategy and associated plans, feedback competitor intelligence and emerging industry trends.

 

Essential Skills and Experience of the Strategic Marketing Manager:

· Proven experience of successfully developing, implementing, and executing a global marketing strategy and associated tactics in a specialised market segment that aligns with the Mission, Vision and Values of a business.

· Proven experience of translating in depth customer and market knowledge into compelling messaging and a unique value proposition that will drive growth and customer retention due meeting customer needs and creating a value-add differential.

· Proven experience of managing, coaching and developing successful teams to deliver tactically on the strategy.

· In depth knowledge of devising, owning and overseeing strategic and tactical plans across the full range of marketing channels, including website site, print, social, digital, advertising and events.

· Demonstrable experience in driving and promoting brand awareness, customer engagement and lead generation via a combination of marketing channels, including Inter-Scientific website, social media, SEO optimisation, email and events.

· In collaboration with the Business Support Executive, assist in the planning and co-ordination of relevant business development opportunities, including trade shows and scientific symposiums,

· Experience in developing and growing relationships with key media outlets and influencers such as newspaper, radio & TV and online platforms to maximise advertising reach and brand recognition.

· Ability and experience of replicating with refinement, a successful and robust marketing strategy into adjacent customer markets.
