Solidworks Design Engineer

R&B Industrial Ltd, a leading provider of innovative industrial ventilation solutions, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated SolidWorks Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Andover. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a key player in the development of our cutting-edge product, SmartAIR+.

Key Responsibilities:

· Sheet Metal Component Design: Produce accurate drawings for sheet metal ventilation components, ensuring precision and adherence to design specifications.

· Product Development: Lead the design and development of SmartAIR+, a revolutionary ventilation system. Utilize SolidWorks to create detailed 3D models and drawings.

· Production of Drawings: Generate drawings for client approval, incorporating feedback and revisions as necessary. Develop comprehensive General Arrangement drawings to convey design concepts and system layouts. Prepare drawings for manufacture within our inhouse workshop. As Built Drawings: Create detailed As Built drawings to document the final product configuration accurately.

· Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with a small team, including a fabricator and sheet metal worker, to ensure seamless integration of designs into the manufacturing process.

· Staff Development: Mentor apprentices & assist with their development.

Qualifications and Skills:

- HNC/HND qualification or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

- Proficient in SolidWorks and experienced in 3D modeling for sheet metal components.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawing creation.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Effective communication skills for collaboration within a small team.
