Description:
Talbots Law is seeking a Solicitor for the Dispute Resolution Team, specializing in Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence. This is a full-time, permanent role for a practical individual with strong client care skills and expertise in litigation.
As a Solicitor, you will manage a diverse caseload, handle fast-track and intermediate-value claims, and advise on a wide range of personal injury and clinical negligence disputes. You'll also collaborate on high-value, complex litigation cases with senior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of personal injury claims, including employers’ liability, public liability, and motor cases.
- Advise clients on litigated matters such as motoring accidents, workplace accidents, occupiers/public liability, fatal accidents, industrial disease, and historic abuse claims.
- Ensure compliance with SRA, Lexcel, Law Society Quality Scheme standards, SARs, and accounting requirements.
- Engage in business development activities and build strong client relationships.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualified experience in personal injury and clinical negligence, including independently managing cases.
- Proficient in handling claims through the Damages Claim Portal (DCP) and Ministry of Justice (MOJ) portals.
- Strong interpersonal, empathic, and client care skills.
- Knowledge of compliance and quality standards in legal practice.
