Software Engineer

Cloudflare is actively hiring Software Engineers for its Platform Abuse Engineering (PLAB) team to strengthen Trust & Safety solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, scale, and maintain tools and services supporting Trust & Safety initiatives.

• Design and integrate RESTful APIs and/or gRPC services.

• Analyze technical requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

• Work closely with legal, product, and Trust & Safety teams to align software development with compliance and security objectives.

• Enhance system design to improve the stability and performance of internal and customer-facing compliance services.

• Participate in on-call rotations for production monitoring and maintenance.

• Mentor junior engineers, contributing to collective knowledge in the PLAB team.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 1 - 3 years of experience developing large-scale distributed software applications.

• Proficiency in Go (Golang) programming.

• Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).

• Excellent debugging, optimization, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with modern infrastructure tools: Kafka, Redis, Kubernetes, Terraform, Temporal.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus but not Required):

• Prior experience in Trust & Safety or building abuse detection systems.

• Knowledge of DNS, TLS/SSL, HTTP, and web security standards.
