Software Engineer

Description:

💡As a Senior C# Developer, you will join the Quantitative Development Team, which sits in the Front Office, providing the centre of quantitative development capability for the company and has direct responsibility for the development and maintenance of the company's derivative systems infrastructure.

You will work closely with the Quantitative Analytics Team on various technical aspects such as model integration, performance, improvements and tracking issues to deliver highly reliable and highly complex technical solutions and you will grow into the best C# Developer you can be within a team that helps you grow!

You will be a problem-solver, able to support, debug & carry out investigations on the company's

main derivative analytics’ platform. The tool is written entirely in C#.

You will Assist production operations team in testing, rollout and production support.

You will be responsible for the development and support of the company’s official P&L and risk valuation application, as well as other custom-built multi-commodity front-office applications and tools.

You will provide assistance and technical support for all aspects of the trading processes as applicable to the derivative system, and these may include aspects such as deal entry, valuation, position and P&L calculation.

💹What you need to bring to this Senior C# Developer Role:

Experience/Skills

• A minimum of 7 Year of Commercial experience in a C# Development role.
• Software development experience with up to 5 Years of working experience with particular emphasis on Databases (SQL)
• Exposure to Lambda would be great, but no essential
• Mathematically minded with some exposure to financial mathematical theory
• Strong understanding of various option valuation models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Technical Requirements:

• C# is the primary development language
• Microsoft foundation classes (MFC)
• Visual Studio development environment
• SQL Databases: Oracle, MS SQL Server
• Source Control Management (GIT)
• Experience with Linux or Unix environments as an option as well
