Software Engineer

Description:

A market leading trading organization are looking for a Senior Endur Developer to join their growing Technology Team; a small but international department that offers an immediate tangible impact on their business and global exposure from day one. This hire will be joining at an exciting time as their new ETRM landscape is currently being scoped and your input will be crucial for the success of the new platform.

Role & Responsibilities
 

• Stakeholder management of Front Office to Back Office users; working closely to turn business requirements into technical solutions.
• Managing L3 Production Support issues and being able to shift priorities at short notice.
• Developing project plans, managing project scope, prioritizing requests and proactively resolving issues.
• Being the key contact for global based ETRM solutions, whether BAU or special projects.
• Leading, and becoming an SME for, solutions set out in the ETRM Road Map.
   

Technical Requirements

This person will be a collaborative worker, confident with energy trading & risk management solutions, and able to successfully collaborate with front-to-back-office stakeholders. In addition, we are looking for somebody with the following:
 

• Extensive application domain knowledge with OpenLink Endur.
• Knowledge of ETRM Front-to-Back business processes; including trade exchange integration, trade capture, trade valuation, confirmations, invoicing, and risk reporting.
• Scripting abilities – Lightweight JVS/Java Development for OpenLink Endur.
• Experienced with T-SQL (SQL Server or Oracle).
• Experienced with REST APIs.
