Software Engineer

Description:

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, seeking a Software Developer to join their team. Reporting to the Commercial Director, the successful candidate will contribute to the development and support of all aspects of the product. This role involves engaging with the Commercial Team, capturing and writing specifications, and developing the required solutions. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with Azure’s cloud hosting and technologies, a keen eye for detail, and full-stack development capabilities. This is a hands-on role.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the production codebase
• Develop new product features
• Manage Azure cloud infrastructure
• Assist with sprint planning
• Maintain Azure DevOps
• Provide IT/development support to the Commercial Director and wider team

Essential Skills

• Strong knowledge of software development theories and practices
• Expertise in Azure Cloud technologies and Azure DevOps (pipelines, branching, and Repos)
• Proficiency in C# .NET Core 6/7
• Experience with MVC and SQL
• Proficiency in JavaScript, including jQuery
• Knowledge of HTML & CSS
• Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Basic knowledge of GitHub
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Service Bus, Storage Accounts, MSSQL
