Description:

Pearson Carter are currently working with a global sporting company whose impact in the sporting world has impacted UK the US and even China. They are looking for a keen Developer to join their expanding team primarily working .NET and SQL with job allowing the successful candidate to upskill in both .NET and Cloud technology. The successful candidate will be able to not only developer their own skills through the seniors who work there but also get a lot of their own freedom to put their own spin on their code. The role would also allow you to gain experience liaising with teams in the US and other parts of the business.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • As part of the Development Team, you will be involved in the full project life cycle, including planning, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Take user stories, produce a design, and develop a solution.
  • Develop high quality software design and architecture.
  • Ensure code conforms to established methodologies and standards.
  • Maintain the integrity and security of company systems and data.
  • Create and maintain system documentation and user training materials.
  • Provide software development technical support.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Experience

 

  • Educated to degree level in a relevant field, or able to demonstrate equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience developing in a .Net framework using C#.
  • Experience of developing and deploying web applications using Azure.
  • Experience of using SQL Server.
  • Experience of using version control systems.
  • Experience of ecommerce systems and EDI would be desirable.
  • Experience of working with integration tools, such as SSIS, would be desirable.
  • Experience of working in Azure DevOps would be desirable.
