Software Developer (full Stack)

 

Description:

Here at the Solicitors Regulation Authority, we are looking for a full-stack developer to join our development team.

The development and design of both internal and externally facing applications – websites, APIs, databases, and modular integration components in a cloud-first environment. You will join a small in-house development team and be key contributor to setting up standards, principles, and our ways of working and how we achieve this in the most effective manner.

You will also have oversight of third-party code delivery, including review of code, pull requests and technical documentation.

You will join our IT directorate reporting to our senior developer and use your experience to help shape our methodologies, processes, and drive adoption into the team.

What we are looking for

  • Proficient use of .NET using SOLID principles
  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, Vue.js)
  • Experience with SQL queries and databases
  • Ability to work collaboratively and have a result orientated approach
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies is desirable
