Software Developer

You will be part of the Transport Data Insights practice, working within our Transportation Business. We are group of talented individuals with an ethos of innovation through a problem focused approach. We work with our clients and internal engineering teams to identify and develop tools and techniques that solve problems and add value.
In this role, you should be a team player with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills. If you also have experience in Agile frameworks and popular coding languages (e.g., JavaScript), we’d like to meet you.

Your purpose:

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience of web or application development in the following areas:
  • Python, Flask.
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Database development (SQL Server or PostgreSQL preferred).
  • Development of web applications with modern web frameworks e.g. React, Angular, Vue etc.
  • Designing, implementing or using Rest APIs, e.g. OpenAPI specification (Swagger) or RESTful API.
  • Experience of developing software in an Agile way.
  • Experience in documenting agreed solutions according to project standards.
  • Experience in supporting the deployment of the solution.

• Computer science based or engineering degree with appropriate software experience.
• Membership of a professional institution is desirable.
• Certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Agile, etc) are also desirable.
