Social Value Coordinator

Description:

BAM Nuttall are seeking a Social Value Coordinator to join us on a major project at Devonport Royal Dockyard in Plymouth, Devon where we are refurbishing the Royal Navy dockyard. As a Social Value Coordinator, you'll be working within the Environment and Sustainability Team, supporting them by being the main link between KierBam JV and our local communities, schools, colleges, and universities to ensure that our commitment to social value is evident.

Due to the nature of work at Devonport, BPSS/SC level of security clearance is required, only candidates holding NATO member passports can be considered and must have lived in the UK for more than 3 years.
 

Your mission

As a Social Value Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following:
 

• Representing KierBam JV at various events such as careers fairs, community events, school engagements and industry events.
• Ensuring accurate data collection across the project and record it via Thrive in order to achieve project KPI’s.
• Collaborating with the project team to encourage strategic social value initiatives.
• Identifying strategic volunteering opportunities within the project area where we can to enhance local environments and communities.
• Delivering and continually developing the KierBam JV Social Value Plan.
• Maintaining the Social Value calendar to ensure a diverse variety of events are planned and coordinated, aligning to our Social Value Plan.
• Maintaining and building a stakeholder register of local organisations and groups that we can look to support to maximise our Social Value.
• Supporting departments with delivery of employment and skills and monitor their progression.
• Aid with the creation of case studies for PR and Marketing purposes.
