This newly created role addresses the clear need for an EMEA social media specialist. Social media is constantly changing and it is indeed very challenging for a brand to be successful across its different channels. To win in this space needs a solid mix of strategic understanding of the brand as well as what it takes to drive performance in the different social media environments & channels.
We want a changemaker who will drive best in class brand experience, innovations and Test & Tearns in social media as well as plan for efficiencies across markets.
As the Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Social Media Strategy & Plan for EMEA
- Building holistic strategies across social media and influencer to increase brand reach, engagement and loyalty
- Defining regional annual content and activation plan and provide guidelines for running media investments
- Run test & learns on growing spaces in social media such as frictionless ecommerce working closely with the commercial teams at the OAC
- Content Management
- Continuously improve & optimise way of working both within Hills & the agency on social media through audits & simplification
- Assess opportunities to centralize assets and work closely with agency partners & country teams to create assets if needed
- Provide Best in class and guidelines of winning content - working closely with the centralised/ local agencies
- Reporting & Analytics
- Social Media, Influencer monitoring and reporting
- Ensuring pre- and post-evaluation of all activities
- Social Listening :
- Work closely with social listening agency to decode consumer behaviour across communities & forums

- You are passionate about social media
- You have a degree in marketing, communication or any other relevant subject area and experience in the areas of social media marketing, influencer activation and PR.
- You have 5-7+ years of combined experience in marketing, digital marketing- client or agency side
- Hands-on “can do” approach, with willingness to learn and adapt quickly
- People centric & drive insight driven activations
- Work effectively across functions, channels, and categories to align priorities, solve problems, optimize resources, and drive effective execution
- Proficient in all Google tools. Demonstrable experience in dashboard building
- Ability to make sound decisions under conditions of uncertainty or complexity
- Digitally savvy and curious, understand the dynamics of eCommerce
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, able to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner and work with cross-functional teams.
