Description:
Getting under the skin of social is your daily bread and butter. You’ll know how to produce stand-out content and campaigns to acquire and engage followers. Your copywriting skills will be second to none, and you’ll have demonstrable experience of increasing social media engagement.
You will have a minimum of 2 years' social media experience, ideally within the food, lifestyle or parenting space.
Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging content, imagery and tone of voice that feels authentic and relatable to our young family customer base.
- Manage the implementation of the organic social strategy across multiple channels, including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and TikTok, driving growth and engagement.
- Come up with fresh content ideas to support the brand and its products, and lead on driving ideation within the wider marketing team to bring great ideas to fruition. Brief and manage photography / video and design.
- Monitor and share social trends – adapting for our core audience to drive engagement and growth.
- Plan and manage AK Ambassador and influencer engagement in relation to stand-alone activities and events. You’ll always be ready to pounce on an engagement opportunity that will help to drive awareness of AK products and increase engagement and growth.
- Set-up and manage social Q&A’s and collaborations with other experts within the parenting arena to grow our own traffic and engagement.
- Work closely with paid social agency alongside Brand & Marketing Director; supplying creatives.
- Proactive and reactive management of the brand’s social inboxes.
Key Attributes
- Passion for social media with a brilliant eye for creating authentic content, visuals and tone of voice.
- Solid experience in a social media environment, ideally with a leading retail / consumer brand or agency.
- Creative thinking and innovative ideas. With a keen eye for both copy, video and design, you’ll be well versed in balancing punchy copy with spot-on tone of voice and design skills.
- Experience in managing and negotiating with influencers and professionally managing social brand collborations.
- Data-driven. A love for reporting numbers and confidence in analysing social data.
- Experience of successfully managing a social budget.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects in an organised but flexible manner. Experience in working with a start-up or owner-managed business would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Facebook Ads/Business Manager is an advantage.
- Some photo and video editing skills would also be an advantage.
