Social Media Content Executive

Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative, hands-on, Social Media Content Executive to join our growing full time team, that also includes a network of freelance audio engineers and project managers.

You will be supporting our podcast production by creating and sharing digital assets around each podcast episode, including audio and video clips. The role involves regularly updating our social media feeds for both the company and the c-suite podcast.

This is an exciting opportunity to support our team, giving you exposure to many aspects of the content marketing mix, but which requires you to have a ‘can-do’ attitude and be a multi-tasker with attention to detail and strong team-work skills, whilst being trustworthy to work remotely. We are in regular contact all day using collaboration tools including Teams and Slack; however, you will need to be self-motivated to work from home.

Responsibilities

  • Create and share on social media the digital assets that support our podcasts, including promotional images, transcripts, show notes, videos for YouTube, and short audio and video clips of podcast guests, responding to comments and feedback on our social channels.
  • Update social media on client wins and our workshops.
  • Support the production team when recording at physical events, which could include travel abroad.
  • Work closely with and oversee Student Placement/Social Media Assistant.
  • On occasion, research new projects or write blogs for the company website.

Skills, Platforms, Applications and Software

  • At least one year’s experience, which could be a university placement year.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Premier Pro, After Effects and Canva are essential.
  • Experience in web content writing and content strategy development - an understanding of updating websites using WordPress will also be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in social media marketing - you will need a good understanding of how to get the best from sharing content on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X and TikTok.
  • Knowledge of current social media trends and best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely.
