Site Engineer

Description:

The Role: We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our team, specializing in all Site Engineering tasks throughout every construction phase. This role is primarily site-based in and around Bristol, with the option to process data remotely if desired. You will be responsible for conducting all manner of Engineering tasks, operating advanced surveying equipment and ensuring the accuracy of all data collected.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing all manner of Engineering tasks for our clients throughout the different construction phases.
• Ability to collaborate with clients on site to fulfil their requirements.
• Conduct precise setting out tasks post and during projects.
• Monitoring and maintaining Quality Assurance standards throughout the projects.
• Site control traversing and station control setup. Including Quality Assurance checks throughout the construction phases.
• Coordination problem management. Working out issues with the As-built or the design and coming up with best-fit solutions.
• Be able to perform volume calculations, cross sections and cut & fill volume analysis etc where required.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering / surveying.
• Experience doing Topographical Surveys and 3D Laser Scanning desirable.
• Proficiency with survey software and data processing tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid UK driving license (essential).
