Shopfloor Operative

Description:

Due to continued expansion and restructuring, Monarch Gaskets is looking for a full-time Shopfloor Operative to join our team at our Wakefield facility. This is a hands-on, physical role in a fast-paced and loud manufacturing environment.

As a Shopfloor Operative, you will learn and contribute to multiple areas of the business, including:

• 5 Axis Machining
• Waterjet Machines (3 units)
• Hydraulic Presses
• Adhesive Backing
• Packing and Dispatch
• Material Preparation for different production cells

We are looking for motivated and hardworking individuals who thrive in a team-oriented environment and are eager to learn.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 or older due to machinery and workplace environment.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
• Comfortable working in a loud, manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work at a fast pace and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• No prior experience required, but previous experience in manufacturing or engineering is a plus.
