Senior Ui Programmer

Description:

The role involves writing, extending and refining UI features across our Unreal Engine project. Reporting to the Lead UI Programmer, you’ll take on advanced architectural and implementation challenges to push the boundaries of UI coding for video games, and in collaboration with artists and designers, deliver the highest quality game experience for our players.

Responsibilities
 

• Develop UI features and systems
• Work closely with artists and designers to produce outstanding user experiences
• Collaborate with other coding teams to advance and maintain the interface with gameplay logic
• Provide support, guidance and documentation
• Help the production team with planning, scheduling and minimising risk
• Exemplify development best practices
   

Requirements
 

• A high level of technical ability, including with C++
• A good understanding of relevant computer graphics and game technology principles
• Experience architecting and maintaining UI systems for a complex video game
• Unreal Engine 4 experience preferred
• Expertise with various established UI frameworks and development tools preferred
