Description:
GreenSquareAccord (GSA) is seeking a Senior Technical Engineer to join our team in Birmingham. This role involves undertaking escalated service and maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with gas standards, and providing technical guidance to engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting escalated service and maintenance work, repairing or replacing components to maintain properties at a high standard.
- Producing gas safety certificates in accordance with regulations.
- Carrying out heating upgrade surveys, pre/post-installation inspections, and audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Acting as the primary contact for the engineering team, providing technical and compliance support.
- Offering guidance and technical resolutions for engineers and non-technical operatives.
- Collaborating with the heating team to identify defects, create improvement plans, and implement corrective actions.
- Undergoing a DBS check upon successful selection.
Candidate Requirements:
- Extensive experience in the gas industry.
- Ability to organize work schedules and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Confidence in coaching and auditing engineers.
- Strong teamwork and leadership skills with a flexible approach.
- Willingness to support apprentices and undertake call-outs as part of an out-of-hours rota.
- Candidates must provide evidence of required certificates and qualifications before starting employment.
