Description:
We are looking for a full-time strategist, with 5+ years within an agency environment (or a mix of agency/client side) and an understanding of the charity sector. You will be comfortable working across a range of media and be inquisitive and curious – bringing positivity, ideas and opinions to the table at every opportunity. You will have an ability to build effective relationships with clients and internal teams.
What the role entails:
No two days are the same at Campfire and work will cover a broad range of areas, e.g.:
- Crystallising insight from research into clear and concise summaries and recommendations working with our in-house qualitative researcher
- Persona creation, based on audience profile data provided to ensure any propositional and creative work is as focussed as it can be
- Proposition development marrying audience insights with client ambitions and strengths, translating propositions into clear and compelling cases for support
- Messaging focus, tailoring propositional content to suit audience, context, relationship status, communications intent, working with our in-house creatives
- Campaign planning, based on organisational ambitions, opportunities isolated in supporter experience phases to maximise communications opportunities and increase response rates
- NPD and innovation – scoping the market and working with Client Services and to develop new product or service offerings.
- Trends and innovation – keeping abreast of trends, innovations and NPD, working with other Strategy team members, Client Services and the CEO to convert these into client opportunities.
- Workshop facilitation – working with the Head of Strategy to develop and moderate workshops with key stakeholders with concise and actionable outputs.
- Inspiring curiosity - maintaining a positive culture of strategic curiosity and exploring the ‘what if’s’.
Essential skills and experience to succeed in the role:
- Charity sector and fundraising strategy experience
