Our client is a procurement business that specialises in procurement and supply chain management services, enabling their clients to increase efficiency and deliver more from their supply partners, improving overall experience.

 

They have a centralised office in London, and their teams work remotely around the UK, only having to come to London for meetings twice a month.

 

This Senior Sourcing Manager will be responsible for the overall commercial lifecycle, developing the sourcing strategy and evolving policies.

 

 

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Understand the supplier/market landscape, quickly adjust policies as it changes.
  • Support and ensure the delivery of transformation projects in your discipline.
  • Review and reduce the supplier base and manage consolidation projects.
  • Work closely with end users to develop spend baselines.
  • Overall responsibility for all sourcing activity in your category.
  • Develop robust KPIs.
  • Be a key point of contact for central and local government bodies.
  • Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships - ensuring their meets are met through sourcing activities.
  • Improve efficiency, performance and sustainability.
  • Encourage an innovative culture and explore alternative commercial models.
  • Experience in handling data, analysis, interpretation, and comparison of a range of options.
